Generally, the pellet equipment or pellet manufacturing equipment is used to produce pellets variously depending on the raw material that is being processed. Material density, particle size and moisture content all have significant effects on productivity and quality.

In the entire pellet plant, the wood pellets are transferred by the wood pellet equipment to a cooler/drier to eliminate the heat which is generated in the course of the press procedure. The moisture content of the pellets is also required to be decreased for durability in the course of storage and shipping. Pellets are then typically stored in silos or bins for bulk shipping or processed by packaging systems.

Wood pellet equipment which is often referred to as pellet press or wood pellet mill, is utilized to manufacture wood pellets for producing energy from ready raw material (wood chips, sawdust, planer shavings, etc.). Wood pellet mill equipments vary in size from three kilowatt to 375 kilowatt (five horsepower to 500 horsepower) or bigger.
